Carlo Hauner & Martin Eisler ‘Concha’ Armchairs

Designed in the 1950s, the ‘Concha’ armchairs are among the most recognizable seating models of Brazilian modernism. Their shell-like seats rest lightly on slender iron frames, establishing a clear dialogue between mass and line.

Reupholstered in grey/off-white fabric, the chairs maintain their original silhouette and compositional balance. The design reflects the European training of Eisler and Hauner merged with Brazilian material sensibility.
