The ‘Três Pés’ armchair, designed by Lina Bo Bardi and Giancarlo Palanti in 1948, is one of the icons of Brazilian modernist design. Inspired by the hammocks found aboard the cargo-passenger boats navigating the São Francisco River, the chair combines a suspended leather seat with a light tubular steel frame.
