Percival Lafer ‘MP-87’ Lounge Chair
The ‘MP-87’ lounge seat, designed by Percival Lafer in the 1970s, is defined by its sculptural oval form, created through the fusion of two molded volumes. Its injected foam body rests within a chrome steel frame supported by a fine mesh that carries the seat.
Reupholstered in off-white fabric, the chair reveals the clarity of its geometry and the comfort of its enveloping shape. Both minimal and technically refined, it stands as one of Lafer’s most experimental designs.
